Moab 4th of July Celebration - "Enjoy the Crunch"
Good food to "crunch" (see how fast you can "crunch" down watermelon at the watermelon eating contest) and good times to forget the economic "crunch" (ring toss, darts, fish pond and dunk tank). "Crunch-time" begins with a community parade followed by an afternoon filled with cultural performances, games, prizes and vendors. Fireworks at dusk. Only 5 miles north of Moab, Arches National Park contains the world's largest concentration of natural sandstone arches. Colossal sandstone fins, massive balanced rocks, soaring pinnacles and spires dwarf visitors as they explore the park's viewpoints and hiking trails.
